Believe it or not, you can make money on MTurk today! Mechanical Turk is Amazon's website where you can make money completing small, mundane tasks. You might leave a comment on a forum, enter keywords for photos, or even click Yes or No to indicate if two items are the same or different. The amounts of money may seem small and not worthwhile, but you can implement a few techniques to earn quicker.

     Go to the MTurk website and create an account to start earning money. There is a direct link to the site in the Resources section below.

     Look through the "hits" to get a feeling of what the site is about and what kind of work is available. You will see tasks with one or a few "hits" and you will see tasks with thousands of "hits."

     Complete a few different types of "hits" to see what you enjoy doing and what you are fast at doing. HINT: The "hits" that pay a penny a piece (such as "Are these items different") might seem too cheap, but they might be the most profitable. After you get the hang of it, you can complete a lot of these quickly. They can become more profitable than completing higher paid "hits" that require you to read directions for each one.

     Keep track of your average earnings per hour or half hour for each type of hit to determine your most profitable option.

     Search for "mturk forum" on Google to find support and advice from other Turkers on how to earn more money faster.
